Contact us01Is the WhatsApp Business API available in Pakistan?
Yes. Meta's WhatsApp Cloud API is open to businesses in Pakistan and Pakistani +92 numbers can be registered on it. You connect it through a platform like Xenwap, which gives you the inbox, chatbot and campaigns on top.
02How much does the WhatsApp Business API cost in Pakistan?
Two parts. The platform subscription (Xenwap plans are priced in rupees, shown above), and Meta's own per-message charge for template messages, which Meta bills to your WhatsApp Business account at its published Pakistan rate. Replies within 24 hours of a customer's message are not charged by Meta, and Xenwap adds no markup.
03Do I need a registered company or NTN?
Not to start. You can use a QR-connected number straight away, and an unverified Meta business can use the Cloud API with a low daily limit. To raise that limit, Meta asks you to verify the business with documents such as a registration certificate, tax registration or a utility bill in the business name.
04Can I keep my existing WhatsApp number?
Yes. With QR connect you keep using it on your phone as well. To move a number to the official Cloud API, it has to be removed from the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app first, because one number can only be on one of the two.
05How do I get the green tick in Pakistan?
What people call the green tick is now a blue verified badge, from Meta Verified for Business or an Official Business Account. It is granted by Meta, not by any platform. It needs a verified business on the Cloud API and evidence that the brand is notable, such as press coverage. No provider can guarantee it.
06Can I pay in Pakistani rupees?
Yes. Xenwap plans are priced in PKR and paid through JazzCash, by mobile wallet or card. Meta's per-message charges on the Cloud API are billed by Meta itself.
07Does the chatbot understand Urdu and Roman Urdu?
Yes. The AI assistant answers in the language the customer writes in, including Roman Urdu, and voice notes in Urdu or English are transcribed to text.
08What is the difference between QR connect and the Cloud API?
QR connect links your existing number the way WhatsApp Web does. It is instant and has no Meta charges, but no green tick, no approved templates and less protection for large-volume sending. The Cloud API is Meta's official route, needed for templates, campaigns at scale and the green tick.
